In cartoon news, Captain Planet and the Planeteers is making its way to DVD. I know this will excite many people out there. 

Shout! Factory is packaging the first season in a 100% recycled cardboard package and will include all 26 first season episodes. The set will also include special features. 

The final seasons of AAAHH!!! REAL MONSTERS are now available through Amazon's Create-Space program.

Also available from Amazon are the final seasons of CATDOG. 

Those of you who were collecting the COPS DVDs from Shout! Factory will be shocked to find out that Mill Creek Entertainment is now re-releasing the entire series and at a low price-point. I'm not really sure what happened but I guess we should be happy that the entire series is finally coming out. Also available is a best-of DVD with 10 of the best episodes of C.O.P.S. Now, I wonder who chose the episodes?

Mill Creek is also releasing the entire Masters of the Universe series on DVD at a low price-point. Good for those of you that don't want to spend a lot of money to get all 130 episodes.

Between Mill Creek, Amazon's Create-Space and Shout!Factory, we will soon have all of our favourite cartoons from the 80s and 90s on DVD. Shout! is releasing ReBoot on DVD in a complete series box set (above) and season sets (below). The complete series is only available from the Shout! Factory store. Both sets will include a wealth of bonus features.
